The short version

I started trying to make money online in 2002, which makes this my 24th year. I was around forty thousand dollars into student debt and working two jobs. I spent years buying courses and chasing whatever looked easiest, which is a good way to learn what does not work.

In 2014 things finally clicked, and a year later I left a well-paid corporate job to buy media full time. Since then I have run campaigns across paid search, native, push and social, mostly against CPA and direct-response offers, and I founded Powerhouse Affiliate to teach the same methods.

How these articles get written

Everything here comes from campaigns actually run, not from summarising other people’s posts. That has consequences worth stating plainly.

• Tool pricing and platform policies get dated. Both change constantly. Where an article quotes a price or a policy, it says when that was checked. Verify before you buy.
• Affiliate links are disclosed. Some links here earn a commission. That never determines whether a tool gets recommended, and it never changes what you pay.
• I own Powerhouse Affiliate. It is mentioned across this site, and wherever it appears, that ownership is stated.
• Income figures are examples, not forecasts. Where a number appears, it is a specific result from a specific campaign. Most people who try this make little or no money.
