Welcome to my blog 'Day Job Hacks'.
I have online marketer who has been working in the field since 2002. Back then I was a bartender living paycheck to paycheck and had 40K in student loan debt.
I first heard about "affiliate marketing" when I was sitting at a poker table with a guy who had much larger stacks than me. He told me about affiliate marketing and ever since, I have been obsessed with it.
Before starting affiliate marketing I obtained a bachelors degree, and studied Business, Marketing, Criminal Justice, and Arts. I got a career with the Government and worked 12 years as an analyst, and also helped with public relations.
Over those 12 years I also worked part time on building my skills in SEO, PPC, Social Media Advertising, Email Marketing, and content strategies.
In 2015 I made the leap, and left my corporate job to do online affiliate marketing full time.
It was scary at first to leave a "secure" paycheck and pension, but in the end it was a great decision and allowed me to excel even more.
I love helping others reach their goals through effective online marketing strategies. That is why I have created this blog and helped over 100,000 other affiliates through PowerhouseAffiliate.com.
I am dedicated to online marketing because of the vast scaling opportunities, and it gives me a channel to express my creativity.
Best of all...working for myself at home allows me to do what I love most of all - spending time with my family.
